Dear Potential New Member,

I am overjoyed that you are interested in Alpha Chi Omega! My choice to go Greek at Cal Poly has been a life changing decision that I could not be more thankful for. Alpha Chi Omega has given me my best friends, leadership opportunities, and has provided me with tools to enhance my education and future. Greek life as a whole has promoted my personal growth and given me the most amazing memories that I will keep with me for a lifetime. Everyday I am surrounded by the most amazing women who inspire me to be the best version of myself.

While the recruitment process may seem overwhelming, I promise being welcomed into a sisterhood with open arms is well worth it. During this fast paced and ever changing period in your life, finding an organization that is filled with support, acceptance and love is essential. Being a part of Greek life will give you chance to find your sense of belonging in your new home of San Luis Obispo!

I invite you to join Alpha Chi Omega in the Recruitment Process by signing up on the Panhellenic Website and completing the first step in your journey of finding your home away from home.

I am honored to represent Alpha Chi Omega’s Epsilon Omega Chapter as the Vice President of Recruitment and look forward to welcoming new incredible women into our home.

Alpha Chi Omega looks forward meeting you this October!

Cameron Glueck
Vice President of Recruitment

Your New Member Educator, Sophia Riddering, will schedule a weekend getaway for a night of bonding with your new member class. In addition, you will learn about the history of Alpha Chi Omega, our founders, our traditions, and much more! This retreat is the perfect time to laugh, dance, eat, and stay up all night getting to know your amazing new sisters.

Presents is a tradition where all our sisters and family members are invited to attend a dinner party welcoming Alpha Chi's newest initiates and honoring the senior class. It is a great opportunity to introduce your family to all your new sisters and show them what it means to be a part of our sisterhood! After dinner and awards, we dance the night away with everyone to celebrate!

Accepting a bid from Alpha Chi Omega is one of the most exciting moments we've experienced. We know it can be an overwhelming transition to have 200 new sisters in a single night, so upon accepting a bid, our new members are immediately welcomed into our sisterhood and included in every event. Big-Little week, new member retreat, and presents are just some events that our new members get to look forward to as soon as they join our sisterhood!

The best time of year! Big-Little week is full of pampering where you will pick up a basket made specially for you every night stuffed full of treats, Alpha Chi apparel, and more!  In your baskets your Big will leave clues to who she is and on the last day she will finally reveal herself and welcome you into her family!
